Return census forms by Jan. 31
Rowley Clerk of Court Susan Hazen reminds residents that 2007 census forms mailed out at the end of December must be filled out, signed and returned to the clerk's office by Jan. 31. Responding to the town census is required by law, since many town agencies rely on the accuracy of the census data to offer vital town services. All members of your household need to be accounted for the following reasons:
* The town uses census data to create a complete listing of town streets.
* It is used to assist public safety responders in the event of an emergency.
